Hey, hoping someone can give me a hand with putting together a badge for my recently formed football team (Chingford Harriers FC). I do some design work myself and was hoping to do this myself, but i'm currently without a lap top and was looking to get something together within the next few weeks for our website and kit.

    1) What is your website address: Under construction
    2) Description of your website: Team info, squad, results/fixtures etc
    3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why: Valencia & arsenal badges
    4) Requested size of your logo: For both website and kit (high res)
    5) Do you have any images/photos/clipart that can be used for the logo? N/A
    6) Any colors you prefer? Royal Blue & white.

I've got some pretty specific design features/ideas:

I've attatched a rough scan to illustrate my thinking.

    - Arsenal badge shape template, using a traditional style football image, the kind of style found on the Valencia badge. The stag image relates to our local are community//school emblem (School badge image attatched) which has no copywright issues and would be hoping to replicate a very similar image. The badge will be appearing on a royal blue background (kit image attatched) so the border would need to be white with the interior background in kit colour (royal blue). In terms of the type not looking for anything too heavy or overbearing.

Hopefully thats enough detail, if theres any clarification needed or any questions fire away, i look forward to some exciting options as i've looked through various other badge designs on here and they're all pretty tight.

Sorry for the size of the scan, i'd accidentally attatched the original and not the scaled down version, but it does the job regardless.

Great job up there Helpimadj. The graphics people here can always do with some extra help!

    Scotty -
Here's something similar along the lines of your sketch. This is a smaller version of the original.

Guys thats excellent stuff, thank you both for the time and effort. Helpimadj - thanks very much for doing something off your own back, i'm going to go for covert peas design purely coz it stays a touch truer to what the team was looking for, particuarly the stag design, i think yours is a really cool adaption but the original image is to do with our local area so the closer the better so don't take any offence, i think its a cracking image.

Covert Pea - that was exactly the type of thing i has envisioned, thank you so much, definately the approach i was hoping for. If you could send the image to reddevil_999@hotmail.com that would be fantastic, could i request you send the original file with the layers unflattened (photoshop//illustrator - whatever your working in) as well as a high res jpeg. Having the original file will be particuarly useful for changing sizing etc for the website and for supplying the kit printer etc.

Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you.

    I've sent the zipped file.
Let me know if it doesn't arrive as hotmail sometimes conveniently 'forgets' to pass on email from gmail accounts.
