I have tried to play about with paint, very badly, and the umbro editor, not quite as badly, but none of them are really what I'm looking for.

I appreciate anything anyone could do.

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
    Northampton Hotspurs F.C

    est 2012

    The last bit isn't essential

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
    Not got one just yet.

    3) Description of your website or business:
A group out lady trying to win.

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?

I guess I'm looking for a clean modern looking. Something that wouldn't cost a fortune to have printed or embroided. But i do like the idea of the background fading from one color to another

    5) Requested size of your logo:
Basically we ask this to determine the graphics resolution and what it will be eventually used for.
It would be used for both

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)

I'm afraid not. Do what you feel is right. Apart from it would be nice if you could fit the bird off of the tottenham Hotspurs FC badge. (hence the name)

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

    Both I believe. :)

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?

The mane colours are yellow and green. Like Norwich FC.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

Just as long as the don't clash too much

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo

    Football teams

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
    1.we are fun but serious
    2. We are not a shoddyly organised team
    3.er....

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Team shirt logo, web badge, clothing logos too

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Just a smart 'official' ish one.

A big thanks to anyone that is happy to help out. And ill see what I can do in return. Although I'm not graphic artists like most of you I'll have a butchers at the review pages etc.

To beign with, thank you for contributing around the forum. :)

    Now, for your crest...
Can you think of another symbol you could use apart from the bird with the spurs? I'd say that "borrowing" their bird for your crest would have to be a big copyright no-no.
How about a rooster or cowboy 'spurs'?

no prob. its a massive favor so its the least i could do.

    darn copyright.....

well the club its hotspurs after tottenham (the coach is a spurs fan) so is there no way of changing it at all? if not we can not have that in it, that wont be too much an issue. ill just tell him to be quiet if he moans. =D

    LOL
Sorry about bursting your coach's bubble.
Put it this way...what if one day your team becomes enormously successful and finds themselves having to play against those spurs guys!? Surely coach wouldn't want the same name, fan or no fan!:D

Anyways, have a talk about which way you want to go and then we'll start work on some other name.

    Cheers

Hi Lady S, Hotspur is along the lines of United; City; Rovers etc so the name should be no problem; But the symbol/emblem would be as it is indeed copyrighted!!!

    Hi Forest,
thanks for the heads up regarding the hotspurs name. That should brighten their coach's day. ;)
Now they only need to find an appropriate animal/symbol thingy.

    Cheers mate
