Legacy Logo Request for School Band Website

Hello everyone,
I would like to request a logo design for my school band's website.

Our name is the Black River Band.
The school's colors are black and gold.

I would like something that is 635px wide and 150px tall.

I would like this logo to look modern and maybe have some sort of gradient; however, the gradient is optional.

This is what I see in my mind:

The words "Black River Band" in black and gold, on a faded out background with different brass instruments.

The logo must contain some sort of band instrument (ie Trumpet, Clarinet, Flute, etc).

I would make this logo myself, but I don't have Photoshop, nor the resources needed.

I would highly appreciate it if some of you Photoshop geniuses could make me some designs.

I am going to give your logo a shot too, I will email you when I get one done...I am going to PM you my email addy so you know where to expect the email from...if I am unable to finish it today, I will finish it after Christmas.
