    Hi Guys,

I was hoping you could refresh our logo that we have had since the club was formed three years ago. We have made our first ever final and we wanted to reflect this in a fresh new logo. I am happy to help out with whatever people need in exchange for this help. I have built the website myself using wix.com so if I can offer help I am happy to do so.

    Thanks in advance
    Martin

    1)
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

The exact text that I would like is Manchester Storm ARLFC and Established 2008. I am open to design ideas of where this could go and how it will look.

    2) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)?
The website address for our team is Official Website of Manchester Storm A.R.L.F.C.

    3) Description of your website or business:
We are an amateur rugby league side based in Manchester, UK. We currently only have one team at Under 14's level.

    4) Have you found any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
I have attached our current logo which we would like to keep the cartoon character from in any design. This has been purchased for us to use. I would like to incorporate the 3 stripes from the Manchester coat of arms that represent the city in our logo too. I have also attached the logo for Rochdale Hornets which represents the kind of look I would like if this is possible?

    5) Requested size of your logo:
We would need the final logo in a range of resoloutions for use on our website but also to be sent to suppliers to have embroidered on our trainingwear and playing shirts. We also produce posters occassionaly so a good resoloution would be needed for that.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
    I have attached these. Thanks

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
We would like text and image if possible thank you.

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Our main colours are sky blue, white and black so if possible we would like these in the logo. I mentioned above about putting in the rivers from the Manchester coat of arms. We are happy for these to be sky blue and black also.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
We do not want to see any red thanks.

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
The target audience is the kids that play for the team and also other children who would like to join our team. We are an under 14's side.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We would like to communicate the Storm factor, being a Manchester club and something to grab attention.

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Our logo will be used in print, on our website and also on our playing shirts.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
I think I have asked for everything I need. Thank you.

I've bookmarked your request. I'm sure I wont be the only one to have a go at designing a logo for yuo.

As for the tornado graphic, can you supply a resizable vector of this or, at the very least, a much larger image? (image can be zipped and posted here as an attachment)

    Cheers
    CP

    Hi Forest,

Thanks for having a go at this. What I was looking for is near identical to the Hornets logo attached above. Except where they have two shades of blue on the back shield I would like ours to have the 3 stripes from the Manchester coat of arms in sky blue and black. With our text instead of theirs. Is this possible?

    Thanks
    Martin

It really does depend on if thier logo is copy right free.
As stated in the sticky post re-creating another logo does not make it your own.
I will try something else for you along those lines, and thinking on it as you already have a dif main emblem, the shaping should be ok

    Hi Forest,

Thanks for all your work I really appreciate the time you are putting in! I like the stripes. Is it possible to have the shape behind the same as the Hornets one with the logo smaller than it currently is? I really like the text you have used for the ARLFC part can all the text be like that?

Sorry to be so picky but when it comes to embroidering the logo onto our shirts etc it can be a bit of a nightmare :D

    Thanks again

    Hi Modman,

Really nice that but could I just add a few things

Can the Cloud logo be inside the shield and not side on with the three stripes being sky blue with a black outline and the cloud sort of over the top.

The ARLFC part in the centre at the bottom as opposed to the side.

The Manchester Storm text being about 3/4 of the size and play about with where it should go maybe at the bottom maybe at the top?

    Really appreciate it thanks

    Hi Modman,

I really like your effort there. Is it possible to have the same font as your original one as I think I prefer that one. Also is it possible to see what it looks like with the writing just at the bottom as well as the way you have done it?

    Thanks
    Martin

    Hi Forest,

Is it possible to have the writing straight on rather than at an angle like you have it? Also is the logo altered in some way? Just looks a bit different?

    Thanks

    Love it Modman.

Is it possible for the ARLFC font to match the Manchester Storm font and also maybe have Est 2008 smaller below the ARLFC part in the same font?

    Really good work. Thanks!

    Modman,

That is first class thank you very much. Is it possible I could have the logo now to use?

Also what is the name of the font you have used? Sometimes people who embroider it need to know to match it up?

    Thanks again
