Legacy Logo Request - Football Club Logo

Hi There.

I'm here to request the designing of a logo for a football team, that I, and a few associates, are in planning to establish.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Rothwell United AFC

2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
We don't currently have a website.

3) Description of your website or business:
A newly formed club in Rothwell, West Yorkshire. So new that we aren’t even in a league yet, and are only in later planning stages.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
I quite like the shape of the shield on the Everton logo, and the design of the Atletico Madrid logo. I also like the simplicity, yet good design of Derby County’s emblem.

5) Requested size of your logo:
Hopefully, we will be using this logo everywhere. Shirts, Websites etc. So, whatever size is relevant to that.

6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
No

7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and Image – I suppose an emblem with a banner underneath or surrounding text.

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Sky Blue. White, Gold/Dark Yellow. Our home kit is sky blue and white hoops. Our away kit is gold/maize.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Red.

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Well…footballers I guess..?

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Professionalism. Sportsmanship. Elegance.

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Initially, on shirts, training gear and the website. And maybe club documents and letters. Maybe in the future, if all goes to plan, it may appear on signage and stuff at our home ground.

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
I guess this is the most relevant question to put this on. As we are based in Rothwell, West Yorkshire, we want our badge to convey our heritage and local area. This could include the featuring of the following items on the badge; Mine Wheel, Boars head, Yorkshire rose, and maybe rhubarb. Although, obviously they won’t all fit on.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
