I've never posted online before (I know, behind the times a bit), but I was looking at some of your logos and loved them. My husband and I are in the process of starting our own business and we need a logo. The business name is "Sullivan's Auto" - I know, not very original (my husband's idea). We don't have a website yet, working on that as we speak, but we really need a good logo. The business is a auto mechanic shop; perhaps something with a car, wrench, tire, etc. would be good. Really not sure what we are looking for (I've made a few myself, but we aren't crazy about any of them - really need help!)

    Thanks.

Found this layout in a logo creating program. Changed a few bits and added the car.
Are you after something of this style or more along the lines of a shiny metallic type stuff?

I like the clipart in the logo. My husband is looking for the name "Sullivan's" to be larger than the work "Auto" (not sure why, but that's what he's looking for). Maybe if the "Auto" goes in the eclipse where the word mechanic is now. Maybe a different font for Sullivan's (italics perhaps).

If you have any ideas for the "shiny metallic" thought please let me know.

    Here's the 1st one updated:
Plus a shiny metal type one. Same logo, just different backgrounds.

Love the chrome look. We need the logo to fit within an oval shape (that's the space for the outdoor sign). Any suggestions on how that should look?

    Oval huh?
hmmm...give me some time to think how to alter the shape.
Can you give me some semi-accurate dimensions of this oval template?
