Legacy Logo help please!! (Knife Company)

    Hi, I am an active duty soldier who is starting a new custom knife company. I have drawn up a few sketches that I would like to use as the company logo. Can someone turn these drawings into finished logos? (blank & white and/or color). These will be used on the website, business cards, and to be laser etched or stamped onto the knife blades. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Also, anyone who may have an idea for a logo, I am certainly open to ideas at this point. I am looking for something that will represent the company well. No nonsense, hard use knives for extreme environments. Thank you so much to whomever can help!

    That's a very creative logo VK. Well done.
    The font style of the VIKING wording, it looks familiar, what font was it styled after?

    As for responses to your request:
    While you're waiting for replies to your request (and as a way of giving back to the community in return), take a roam around the forum and see if you can find other members looking for some help with various questions and/or site review requests.

    Covert Pea, thank you very much. I will certainly help out anyone I can. As far as font, I just looked around the internet and found a spartan logo with that style font, and did the viking in simular letters. 1970Forest, that is and excellent looking logo. It is truely amazing to me how you all create such works of art!! Oh, and I love your signature!!

    Right here goes for the 1000th, with the Help of Mr Ish doing the lettering as to VK spec's (this is what I luv about this site and the people who contribute to it!!!!) Thanks Ishkey!!!!

    Viking Pen Tool Font
    I found it in a little obscure site almost at the beginning of the Internet.
    Some archeology dig unearthed it and posted up the glyphs.

    I had to convert it as I like to draw mostly on one layer (lazy brain)
    Layers Menu (Release to Layers Sequence)
    delete the file when done

    I finally remembered where I'd seen a similar font style of this before.
    Blade 2 Over HERE if anyone wants it.
    Particularly handy is the extra 'single stroke' characters. Being vector text I can save them individually as custom shapes. :p

    Forest, awesome work. Love the logo, looks great with that font. Ishkey, also very nice. Very sharp. I think that would loo pretty good as etching as well. very impressed with both of your work!!

    I'm getting a tad confused as to where we are with this request; you just posted under another thread that you were getting knives made up for photos, so am I to assume that you now have a logo for your laser etching?

    I will close this thread then?

    I am going to use a simple etching for the blades with the words "Viking Hard use knives" on the blades. i am still in need of a logo for the website.

    Ishky, is there any chance you can do a logo like that in color? I like the clean lines of it, and would like to use something like that on the website.
