Legacy Logo & Graphics Help/Request

Hi, I'm new to this whole forum idea, however, I just got a domain name and doing my best to try to figure out some free programs to build my new site. Photoshop would really help, but cant afford it at this time, that's why I am asking you all for a little help.

I am going to have artist review's on there for now and thinking of other ideas as well.

I have a good idea for a logo in my head. I want it fairly large, preferably on a black background with white, grey/silver, or even maybe a little gold and red in it.

I would like bat wings extended out and in the center have something like ROCKERWIRE or ROCKERWIRE.COM and at the bottom having the two ends of the bat wings connected by a wire design. Barbed wire? Or like a looped wire design like a mic wire or something?

Also, if you think of any cool graphics I could also include on my page that are similar, feel free to send them.
