Legacy Logo for computer company

    I need a logo for my computer company. I made a sad attempt at it, and this is my result. My web address www.hi-tekcomputers.com
    Company is Hi-Tek Computer Systems.
    Size should be something similar to the logo on my site.
    I am not partial to any colors, but maybe the Hi-Tek in red?
    I do like something like this logo http://www.newtechhorizons.net/nt/images/NTH-logo.gif

    great now one of the graphics people will be more than helpful when they come on line. they really get upset when people do not follow the rules, as they are pros who make a living at graphics and do this for free.

    Okay, now we have the forum etiquette side out of the way... :D

    I gotta agree there Dave75, it does look a lil' poorly but at least you had a go. The rest of your site looks great. I do like those colours!

    As for the logo: To begin with, how about I 'tidy up' what you're already using?

    Just give me a day or so.

    Thanks for the compliments on the page, my first serious attempt at making one. Take your time I'm open to any ideas you may have the logo, or the site.

    I kind of went off your original track here but what do you think of the ones below. (both the same only on a white and a black background)

    Those are awesome, I especially like the one with the black background. Can you attach them in either jpg or gif format?

    The best thing for your logo is not to have the white or black background at all. Let logo's background just be part of the actual orange background you already have. checkout ealuspatherapy.com and see one similar to what i did. If you want i'd do it but i've just given away an idea.
