Legacy Logo for a youth gospel choir needed

Hello

I need a logo for a youth gospel choir, the name is Happy Day Gospel Choir. We don't have a website and here are a few logos I like:

I would like a combination of a black and red colour and I would like to have a sun, or a half of the sun on one side - just the lines (just a simple symbol). The sun could perhaps be yellow or orange (it's hard for me to imagine how it would look). Any ideas or additional questions welcome

wow, it's quite nice though it seems to be a bit large and I think I would prefer to have the H and D in capitals...thanks very much

 

I think the second one looks 'too formal'. I like the vibe and energy of the first one, if only it could be somewhat smaller? Many thanks for suggestions!
