Legacy Logo Design

    Hi guys,
    I need a logo designed for me! I would like it to be similar to the one on this page. It needs to say Josiah LaCelle Photography and then my slogan:

    "...capturing life, one photograph at a time."

    I wasn't really planning on paying someone to do it! I have seen, on this site, people creating logos for free and that was more of my budget :D!

    Would anybody do this?

    Ignore that post from mkatz. He/she is simply using our forum to troll for paid work and that's a big no no around here.

    As for your request, I see the sample logo you like has used a duck pic. Did you have any kind of symbol in mind for yours?

    My apologies. I didn't realize that it was against this website's policy to offer a particular service to somebody requesting a particular service. And yes, I was "trolling" for paid work. Some of us are trying to make a living by providing/designing brand identities for individuals, companies, etc. It's our job to provide top notch work for our clients, just as it is a doctors job to provide the best care possible.

    Look, if you are truly looking for a quality logo or a talented designer, you pay them for their time and skills. Am I wrong?

    I'm sure there are many graphic designers such as yourself who are trying to make a living as well. Perhaps you should start your own website and look for paid work the right way.

    This where I think mkatz85 is correct, yet I believe he should prove himself first, as he is only passing by.
    To many people come here thinking they can get a logo for free because they are to cheap to pay someone for the work, yet they pay for everything else,
    99% don't even read what the Forum Header states.
    The can't be bothered to partake in the forum.
    Nor do they realize what the entire Forum is about, The Home page of templates, how to use them, the coding and help understanding graphics.
    If a new members purpose is to understand the how to use templates and learn, then the other members go out of their way to help.
    When they come here thinking only for themselves, if someone wants to offer a paid service, let the original poster be the judge.
    The Forum has turned into a request line of free graphics and eternally grateful non-contributers.

    Then start your own website and build up a customer base yourself, rather than praying on the people that come to a pre-established site looking for the service that is offered on said site. He was NOT requesting YOUR particular service, he was requesting the service offered by this site, which generaly is considered to be 'Free'.

    Do you see freelance docotrs walking into any Free clinic and asking people, who obviously do not wish to pay, to pay for YOUR advise? When there are many other doctors who are willing to do so for free? No, you do not.

    They are many with great talent, such as CP, who provide top notch work for Free.

    You have 1 post, so who the hell are you to be bringing thise sh*t attitude to this site, and to defining what is and isn't allowed here. This is not YOUR site, why should you be making profit from this site, that other people have worked hard on to build?

    I apologise for my rant and going off-topic, but I just hate people like this.

    :(The viewers must have some idea about the disposition, character, or fundamental values of your company through your logo. Your logo should be able to build a positive, strong and long lasting impression on existing and prospective customers. The very moment a person views your logo, even a part of it, he should think of your company.
