Hi, I'm Susan, I've been working on my own websites (3) for our non-profit for about 10 years. They are simple without any flash, very little java etc. Recently I build a website in exchange for dental work and he was pleased enough to ask me to build his new dental website. I'm really frustrated because I want it to be competative with his peers, and have been having a devil of a time. My age isn't so much the problem (66 yrs) but I have a couple of health issues that affect my ability to retain some information. So when I try to watch a youtube video or read instructions (some of them are really out there or are for really experienced web developers) I get lost.

Anyone kind enough to help a gray haired old fox out would be greatly appreciated. My own main site is safenetwork.org. My dear dentist and I are meeting tomorrow night and I'm hoping I can pull a rabbit out of a hat.
    Glad to meet you all.

Hello Susan from this Susan down in Oz. :)
Nice to meet you and welcome to the forum.

In my opinion I would make use of a premade template and gussy it up to suit. Most 'Creative Commons' templates are free but they ask you keep their footer intact.
(Search google for free creative commons web templates)

On the other-hand, with FWT's own free templates available HERE they do not insist that you include their footer.

Hope this may be of some help to you.

    Good luck!
