Not much to tell

Dabble in web design (but I am way out of my league)
Want to create or have aid in creating a website... do not know where to go specifically on this website for the aid.

What is envisaged on this website:

Shopping website:
Selling natural products initially and then other products, similar setup to drop shipping.

Currency Converter
Buy Now
Java Scripting for "product images" (scrolling from right to left... pause with mouseover, linkable, and more info)
mouseover effect for products/more info etc

Gradient RGB colour background from left to right (this I was informed is impossible with CSS, only with image)

Do not know the lingo for hosts etc and the jargon is annoying. Using Macromedia to do the work on... was informed about a new updated and free software that does the same job... hmmm forgot name of it...
