This looks like a really great place and community, I certainly appreciate the job you guys are doing for people in need of site templates!

I have one question though, why do you do it? Just wondering

I am part of a community that started to develop their own MMORPG. The project was known as Project Phoenix and the game name we finally decided on was Phoenix Realms. We had many innovative ideas, many new concepts and some terrific story-lines and lore. It was a very similar project to this one: www.projectwish.com

However for various reasons (the game cancellation that drove us to start our own game development was picked up again by another company, inactivity, real life issues) we declared Project Phoenix to be in limbo and suspended it until we got the chance to start it up again. We had a website, but it has long been taken down. Perhaps if you were to do an advance search in google you would find it in the cache (it was www.projectphoenix.warhammeronlineforum.com, as we were at the time part of the Warhammer Online community).

I am considering asking you to help me design a new website (when I say help, I mean I tell you what would be good and you design it -I know almost nothing about website design!) and a new skin for a set of invisionfree boards. However I need to know a few things first...

How do you decide if a submission is valid or not and if you will design it?

What is the chance that I will get picked to be one of your template under design?

What criteria would I need to fulfill in order to submit my idea?

How much freedom would I have in choosing the style and layout of the template?

Hi Shadowmancer...I hope you enjoy your stay here. You asked why we devote our time to the forum helping people for free??? Well I can't answer for everyone, but I can say that the reason I do it is because I enjoy helping other's learn something useful, or helping people who can't otherwise afford to hire a graphic artist to modify a logo or something. Plus I get to list all the work I do here, on my own website as work I have done, so it boosts my portfolio...
