    1) What is your website address? Will be www.coventryspartansfc.co.uk
    2) Description of your website: Football Club
    3) List 3 template designs on FWT you really like:
    4) List 3 websites which you think look great ( doesn't need to be similar to your site):
    5) List 3 similar websites:
    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the template ( only copyright free ones )? Yes Attached.
    7) Any colors you prefer? Black/White/Gold

I am after a Football badge for our newly formed team. I have attached a design which I love and will suit our club. We would just need the text to be changed to COVENTRTY SPARTANS FC. And instead of 2009 it should be 2011.

Can someone help me with this please.

    Many Thanks,
    Graham

    Hi GG,
Many thanks for your response and correcting me. Im an eager newbie.

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
COVENTRY SPARTANS F.C. Would ideally like it from left to right as shown in the desired image. And to replace the 2009 with 2011.

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
I will be using a free club website. the link is www.coventryspartansfc.co.uk

    3) Description of your website or business:
The website will is for our football club and to keep our players and opposition informed. Also for potential sponsorship.

    4) Have you found any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
The logo I have attached is exactly what I am after except the wording is wrong. The colour and design is ideal.
    5) Requested size of your logo:
The logo will be used for our kit and club wear and will be embroided on. We will also require the use of the logo in programmes and on our website.
    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Please see attached. All i require is the wording to be adjusted. Unless someone has a better looking logo?!
    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Text and image as displayed in attached.
    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
    Black white and gold.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
This will be for people of all ages and walks of life.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
That we are Coventry Spartans Football CLub and were formed in 2011.

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Firstly the main use will be on our clubwear and football kits. Secondly on our website and programmes.
    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Please feel free to comment on anything else that you would like your logo to have if it has
    not been mentioned above.

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
Im not sure what ever is best for clothing. And can this image then be reduced for other uses such as website and programme?

I think you missed these parts in the Sticky Post.

    The DONT'S
    1) Do not ask (or expect) our graphics people to come up with an almost exact copy of
some other company brand or team logo. Changing an original logo's colouring and/or text
does not automatically make the design YOURS!
There are still legal copyright issues to consider.

    The DO'S
    1. Help out others while you're waiting, look around the forums and see where YOU can help out others.
(Do Not just post the answers to question #4 and logout and say you will help out later - that makes you look like you could care less.)
We are a "give & take" group. If we see you are willing to help others we will most definitely help you.
A good first place to help out is in our "Request a Website Review" Please read this before doing a review.
or use the “General Chat Forum” to enlighten us with your forte.
Be sure to visit the ”Introduce Yourself Forum” that's an easy one.

I will continue to browse and help out where I can on this site, as I am finding it really informative. I am also impressed with how willing and helpful the people are on this site.

I will trawl through the web to see what images can be placed instead of whats on the attached design. But ideally im hoping not to move to far from whats there. I welcome any ideas.
    Thanks again,
    Graham

Good work though mate, you could on the off chance mail him via his site to see if you can use it? I did see other designers have asked to use parts of his work (but don't know if permission was given)

The Helmet was his own creation, so that would be the copyrighted part

Wow, wasnt expecting so much feedback so soon. Thankyou all. I have been in contact with Chris Hannah as I did feel bad about wanting to use his logo. So thankyou for pointing that out to me.

My email back from chris was
    "Hi Graham
Thanks very much for your kind words.

In regards to creating a logo for your team, I'm afraid using the same logo would not go down too well with my team! So it would have to be a new design. It could still be a circular logo with an emblem that better represents your team and have the text the same font as the Spartans logo?
    Regards

    Chris Hannah
    Art Director"

Thankyou Modman for your work, its a great start and its good to see it. The spartans helmet is very similar to Blyth Spartans FC, so I'll carry on looking for helmets that can be used. Once again thankyou for everyones input.
    Graham
