Legacy HELP: logo and banner for t-shirt's

Hi Guys,

i have been lurking on these forums as a visitor for awhile so when i knew i needed help i came here.
my buddies and i have a pretty good podcast thats growing really big with our community.
our fans mean everything to us and we are launching a website really soon for them. we are also looking into making t-shirts by their request.

i do dabble in photoshopcs3 but in no means an expert, i actually bought cs and taught myself photoshop. but i need some expert help and my talents are limited.
we are looking to make a logo for the site and mainly for t-shirts but as we are doing 'Batman' we can not use tis name in the Logo. the logo idea i had was that of a football crest, maybe doing something with a really cool looking bat with the initials of thebatmanuniverse added to the crest, maybe have dark colors, black, grey, dark blue or maybe some red. i kinda like the toronto FC crest.
also we can use a banner for the back of the shirts and maybe also add these to the website. we can't use any of the bat symbols since those are copyrighted, so we need a custom one for the crest/website.
the banner can say 'TheBatmanUniverse.net' since it is one large word. but the banner has to look really cool and maybe kind of have the logo at the end or begining to make it, just an idea really.

if you guys can help that would be awesome, i'm just spent and making really awful bat crest ideas. lol

ok, even tho i liked it, the other 2 guys found it creepy. lmao they didn't like the eyes, lol. i told them i liked those. hahaha.

so back to the drawing board. pea, can you do something similiar to this batman symbol?

 

I am trying to put both logos together that you created for me covertpea! How do I? Can you? We need a small ladybug on a lilypad with the wording real free stuff for all next to it, below, above or any way you can do it. I have both logos, but need them somehow together. We want to put them on shirts too. Please help if you can!
