    Hello fellow humans...

The leaders of my city (the city of Rakhyut) are currently in the process of establishing a sports club (something that has been in the process for over 10 years btw..) So, after all this time, I am ready to make one of the first major steps to making this dream-of-a-team come true. I took it upon myself to try to design and produce a logo that would represent my people, and look professional enough/attractive enough to make people get off their feet and do something. Unfortunately, I do not have the software capable of doing such a professional and complex project..I tried, and i failed, but now it's your turn to try this logo. I have provided all the images, the crest outline, and the images to be placed in the crest, as well as their symbolic meaning.

    Thank you all in advance.
    ---------------------------------------------------------
The following image is going to be heavily influential on my crest. The following crest IS NOT an offical logo of a club. It was a self-made logo of famous Saudi club, Al-Hilal, and was made by an online site as a rumored logo.

The outline will remain the same, as well as the band of blue-color containing the words "ALHILAL", and "saudi arabia". I would like these portions of the crest to be changed to a maroon color (but I would also like to have the original color of this crest in a separate image, I want to see whether I would want to keep the a blue, or go to maroon, thx). Also give notice to the blue color in the outline; it is not only one shade of blue, if possible I would appreciate this to be kept the same on the Rakhyut S.C. logo.

The following image is my attempt to create the logo with the 2004 edition of Fireworks...not that successful, but it'll give you guys the jist of what is going to be expected. I provided detailed notes at the sides of the "team logo" to give an idea of what is going to be expected. ***I am sorry if the notes are a bit hard to read!!***

If possible, I would like this crest to be 400/500 pixels or above in height, if not possible, no problem. Like I said, I am pretty sure the kit will consist of a maroon color, therefore the logo should consist of a maroon outline

The city of Rakhyut is a city known for it's passionate footballing youth, much of this youth eventually go into office jobs, not having their gift of football exploited, making this logo can lead to one of the most successful clubs in the country, so I salute you for your help.

Thank you once again, Sporty4life.

I noticed that the sea scene in the background of the top right portion of the logo looked a bit tacky if another scene of the sea could be found that would better suite this logo, I would appreciate that too.

Okay, some more editing, I have come up with the following product:
The same rules apply as I previously said, but the ocean/sea picture is know out of the design. The crest I posted is something I hope that will come out, just a lot crisper, and meshing together nicer.

    CHANGES

    * crest outline color changes from a maroon to a black, texture remains the same.
    * ocean image is removed from top right corner.
    * ocean image is replaced with 4 equal stripes, 2 white, and 2 maroon, representing the team colors.

Here's what I've put together so far. I'll add the bottom ribbon once we get the crest right.
(size shown is much smaller than original)
I don't understand the flag section, shouldn't there be green in it too?

I don't know what your intentions are in using the final crest. When it comes to having it printed or embroidered, all the different colours and shades will add a lot onto the price.

Ohh cool, i like what you did Covert pea. The only thing i wish that you could do differently would be to replace the emblem (in the bottom center), with this image in this link: http://www.mrmwr.gov.om/images/Resize%20of%20Khanjar-1.png, and i would like you to remove the red from inside, I would like it to be completely blank inside (like the trophy to the left, it would look a lot more vivid and better if there was only a black outline of the embelm visible (also cheaper to print I think?). Also the bottom left portion of the crest should be a shade of darker green, (I know, it might be expensive to print, but blame our national flag :p) I also think that the book in the top left should have a black outline (cutting down on the printing price ;D)

As of know, it looks kind of good, I really like the way the colors are fitting together.

Also I forgot to mention, if it is going to be cheaper, I think that the football should be straight-out blank instead of that multi-shade black.

Almost perfect mate ;)! if there is only one thing you can do...can you take the banner-part of the bottom of this crest (containing the text): File:Al Ahli Club Logo.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, and remove the text, convert it to the outline to black, and place it underneath the current crest (if you can't use the banner-thing I gave you in the link cuz it's too small, or anything, can you find something very similar to that, if you can't do anything about it, i'll understand...). It would also be very much appreciated if the star and crescent could have an black pencil-outline like the trophy, and the sword, and dagger, I think it would give it a more vivid look, and keep the design unified.

Thank you, you're a life saver!

Let me know when you have it so I can remove from forum

I've been doing this as a profession in my husband and mine's own private business for the past 12 years.
There's just way too much competition and associated problems for us to start branching out to the internet world. :)

    Good luck with your team!

    Cheers
