Legacy Greetings! Some help would be highly appreciated...

I was floored when I stumbled upon this site. People helping other....for free? Wow, there is still hope for humanity!

I would like to begin by asking, how can I help? I am in no way an artistic person, but I'm sure I can help in some fashion. Point me in the right direction and I will do what I can to help.

OK here goes: I am looking for Logo for my new DJ business. I have been doing this as a "hobby"for many years, usually for free (beer, BBQ, tips) for friends and people in my neighborhood. I've had many requests to do larger venues, and figured it is about time I begin taking it to the next level. As I am originally from NYC, I am calling it: NYCE...... NYC Entertainment. I had a business card made out (online) and used a template I like. It has the colors I like and such.... I hope this helps with some "inspiration".

2) Description of your website:

The website won't be used for much except for a simple web presence and maybe to post some pics.... I think I will be using Face Book more, at least for now. Most of my business will come from word of mouth and handing out business cards at events.

3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:

1) I really like the business card I have attached, but I would like a LOGO that emphasizes "NYCE" in a contemporary / Club fashion.

2) I like the Dirty Seconds logo, as it has a hint of Southern Rock, which is currently the type of crowd I usually have.

3) The G-Street Logo (to me) is like a hybrid of the Southern-Rock thing (wings...think Lynyrd Skynrd, Van Halen) and has a contemporary feel to it.


4) Requested size of your logo:

Something large like 600x600.

5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)

I like image 2 for some reason....

6) Any colors you prefer?

Black, Blue, Red... Chrome.......
