G'Day

    Oh, I felt so dirrty saying that!

    I just realised that there was an introduction centre so after the great help I got from CP, I thought I would introduce myself.

    My name is Ann and I am a 25 year old perpetual student from sleepy Perth in Western Australia. Whilst I have no real creativity (I am a law and journalism student after all) I do have an eye for organising websites logically, writing, editing and research (really good at that!).

    I don't usually join online communities (this is my first) but I just loved the vibe (including some of the acerbic comments of ishkey;)) and that fact that people volunteer time to help others. I am a freelance sports journalist (specialties of soccer, AFL, tennis) and if any of my skills are transferable I would love to help.

    Them Aussies have a certain flair with words. I must say Ann your Website reviews are inspiring and down right informative. It is refreshing to read in-depth reviews. One of the hardest things in this world today is finding someone who takes the time to look and write. So say is the way of the world when everyone wants it now and condensed.
    Maybe others will follow your lead.
    Keep up the great work. (a perpetual student... not a bad vocation.)

    Why not write about "sleepy Perth" with pictures (journalist student), I am sure there is some interesting facts to write about.
    My wife is researching and writing about her family. Traveling in a covered wagon from Missouri to Kansas, and later (a few generations) crossing the wooden road across the California Desert in a touring car. And later crossing back to visit the homestead, driving in a jeep on route 66. The pictures and changes are interesting.
    Western Australia has many interesting stories that we would like to hear (and see - pictures) about. A website covering "womens sports" (you said you were interested in it) the early years to present would be interesting.
