you only need to get 1,000 points, wich is realy easy... ALso if you wanna get it quick, get people to use your referal link, so that way its 2x faster and 3x with another and so on. I got it in about 2 days, I had 5 referrals so Piece of cake.

Log in, and pick a banner, or use a text link, and put it on your site saying free domain with hsoting, and when they click your link, and register there your referral, so every time they get points, you get some too

 

What are the advantages over Flickr and Picasa?

 

Never tried Flickr, or picasa but,
When you get the domain, its yours, and if you get the domain from the site, and post in there forum, they send set up a free hosting account for you, so you get free hosting.
