Web Tools free forum system

Hey thought id post this while i w8

i came across this a few yrs ago its come along way since then
its called Simple Machines Forum Home of SMF: Free PHP and MySQL forum software

if u have acquired a web svr and need a website with a forum, and u dont know how to create 1 or simply dont want to, this is a perfect system that helped me a lot!

by itself its a self sustaining forum but it has the option to add mods and themes/templates from other users without the hassle of using ftp to keep updating them.

i came across a few problems after spending about 2 weeks setting it up, so if u cant find it in the help section let me know.

part from that its all pretty self explanatory and pretty much any1 can do it.

I have used SMF on my site for a good long time, before vBulletin, and 'tis very good. I looked over your site, quite nice. Was considering registering, might hop on your BC2 server some time.

 

ye SMF is great we used it back on the old vice city multiplayer forums, i believe they still do, ive only been able to get a site now .
