Legacy Football Team Badge

Hi guys, found this site whilst looking online for places to create a badge for a football team I help run. Looked through some of the designs that had been made for other people and was really impressed and hope you can help me out.

1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
VAPOURS FC / VFC / V

2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
At the moment we only have a facebook and teamstats page. Neither is custom designed to our club colours, I'd rather get a badge first and then use that to develop a website theme later on down the road.

3) Description of your website or business:
A local football team.

4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
I was thinking of something quite simple that I'd be able to sketch quite easily on a piece of paper if I was meeting with a potential sponsor for instance. I really like these badges



I like how they are all quite simplistic but without looking like someone has just gone on paint and inserted some shapes. I also like the idea of a prominent V in our badge.

5) Requested size of your logo:

I don't have a specific size in mind, but would like it to be used online for now and to be printed on our home/away shirts in the future.

6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
No.

7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
I think I answered this in question 4.

8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Our home kit is Sky Blue and white stripes so those colours would be good.

9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
Our away kit is red and black but any other colour would not tie in with our current colour scheme.

10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Football fans/players, anyone really.

11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Simplicity, modern and cheap(not really sure to be honest).

12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
For now it will be used on our team website and our facebook page as well as the league website. But we will also use it on future kit and training gear purchased.

13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
No.

14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
No preference.

 

Went to the review a site page and found someone asking to review a picture upload site so thought I would try it out here. This is our home shirt



although we now have blue shorts and blue and white striped socks to go with it.
