Legacy Football Logo

    Can anyone help me with guidance on how to tidy up/smarten the existing logo's for our junior football team.

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
    Barlby Raiders F.C.

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
    www.BarlbyRaiders.co.uk

    3) Description of your website or business:
    We run junior football teams from under 6's to under 16's.

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
    the style you are looking for?
    Shield design, Blue background, yellow trim if possible.

    5) Requested size of your logo:
    No specific request.


    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)

    I'll be happy to take a look at it for you, as long as you take a look around and try to contribute as the sticky states. You should be able to get in a few posts while I dwell on it's creation for you.

    Hi Shaun

    I see that you have asked for blue badge yellow trim/surround?
    Can I say that would not work with your current kit being as it is yellow, the surround would not show up against the kit, suggest you swap to a blue trim around a yellow badge (just IMPO)
    Also is it you who does the website?

    1970Forest, Yes I created the website, again, not something I'm any good at doing but I'm a keen volunteer to support my sons club.

    Looks like 1970Forest will be doing his thing here - guess it's a father/son soccer bonding thing.
    ShaunD do you have the original graphics of the helmet and sword?
    Just trying to save some work.

    I've spoken to our coaches and they would prefer the shield with a solid blue background and yellow trim, the image of the helmet has now been requested as white to be placed directly onto the blue. The only images I have are those attached above in my initial plea for guidance/support.

    Thanks for all your help guys. Just to confirm that the circle design above and the one with the swords have now been disregarded, the general concensus is that we go for a solid blue background with the horned-helmet emblem in white. The shield still would have the planned yellow trim, but a little thinner. Much appreciated, if I can return the favour in any way possible let me know.

    The Viking helmet with horns pointing out is the prefered of the two helmets from my mock-up. Cheers.

    never seen a viking helmet with the horns out - oh well should have waited for the question to be answered. I guess there was just to many styles to choose from. I'm going to have to learn to ask questions first - draw later, every request seems to be changing thoughts after the first post.
    Back to the drawing board.
    Here is what I had after I took out the swords.

    The coaches have elected to run with the viking helmet design and also requested:
    1.Black outline / Banner and writing , Dutch Orange infill with the Hemet still in white
    2. Blue Outline/ Banner and writing , Yellow infill again with the helmet remaining white
