Legacy Football crest request

    Hi guys I have been looking at your site for a while and the badges you guys have created have been superb.

    I run an adult mens team in the downs league Bristol called Jersey Rangers. we wear sky blue and white and we are named after a pub we attend after games. we were also formed in 2005.

    We are looking to have a badge as we have never had one and we are also going to set up a website. There are no restrictions so you guys can really let your imaginations run wild with this one.

    Also just for my curiosity i would love to know how you design the badges, what software you use as i would love to play around with it myself.

    Also if anyone has any advice or info about how to set up a free website would be more than helpful as i havent got the slightest clue!!

    Do you have some kind of graphic or team mascot (animal /symbol /town feature etc.) I could stick on a crest?
    Hmm...my imagination is coming up with:
    Jersey= a brown cow
    Rangers= The lone Ranger
    Kinda sad eh?
    Well it is nearly 1am here and this old brain tires easily.
    So maybe it's best if you gave me some ideas. :D

    I would find that quite a funny a badge having a lone ranger on a jersey cow!!

    really the main things are the name and established 2005. any images could just be a football something like that!! colours are sky blue and white with black and gold trim!!

    i realise that doesnt really narrow it down!! sorry!! lol

    covertpea they are absolutely amazing!!

    I love the one on the right with black!! I dunno how easy this would be but the style you have done the JR on the left badge would you be able to put that into the badge on the right?

    Could i also ask what programme you use to make these badges i am really interested to know how all you guys do these!!

    I've made the changes to your logo. Please check your private messages for info on getting the file.

    I make these crests in Photoshop CS2.
    Most are made from a basic shape, be it round or one of several styles of 'shield' shapes. Elements (ie; ball, sunray, stripes, banners etc.) are layered and positioned above the basic shape. Text is added on a path and that's basically it!
    I've included the layered .psd (Adobe native file type) for you to see how it 'fits' together. If PS is out of your price range, The Gimp is a good alternative which can open psd's and it's FREE.

    As for web templates, all the free templates offered here can be altered to suit just about anything you want to use them for. All you need is a little imagination and a lot of patience!
    If you get stuck, there's always someone here ready to give you a hand.
