Hi, I realise that there are backlogs of requests for logos but the quality of the artwork from here is outstanding and i'd be so grateful if anyone was able to help me with my request.

The team name is 'Horton Heath Athletic Football Club' and is situated in the village of Horton Heath in Southampton, Hampshire, England.

The village is joined to the town of Fair Oak which is named after the Oak tree which used to stand in the centre of the town. Horton Heath itself is named after two local farms. Southampton and Hampshire are closely associated with Naval History and the colours associated with the areas is red and white (also the colours of Southampton F.C.).

Logo notes: (these are guidelines only, please DO use your artistic tendancies in the design wherever you like!)
The club is due to be registered in 2010.
The full name will be 'Horton Heath Athletic Football club (or A.F.C.) however, this can be shortened to just 'Horton Heath' in the crest.
The club will wear a white shirt with a diagonal red stripe running from the left shoulder to the right bottom of the shirt. The team will wear Black Shorts and Black socks.
The St. George cross can be used, however, please do not use the Union Jack as this flag now is associated with the right-wing polical party the BNP.
The 'Fair' Oak tree is also associated with the area along with farmland.

Below are some crests I am fond of to aid the design, I very much like simple, clear and bold logos but I am also keen on tradition so if this could be reflected in the design that would be great!

If there is any further information/area history that you would like in order to create this logo I will be glad to provide my email address.

I would like for this logo to be of a useable size for Websites, Club merchendise and also shirt printing.

I will fully credit the author with the design and will be ever so grateful for the help.

We will also make a donation to a charity on bahalf of the club and offer to wear a charity name on our shirt.

Please feel free to point me in the right direction if I have posted incorrectly.

Many thanks once again in advance.

There is only one who does these requests and she is always swamped.
But if your nice to CovertPea, like bribing her with Chocolate, well who knows what she'll do. :D

Dave you know me only too well! ;)

    HHAFC -
Excellent information. You've certainly covered all relevant points regarding your request.
    Thank you!
(please take note any other future request-ees - THIS is how it's done!)

You've been added to my list. Hopefully I'll get back to you in a few days with something.

    Cheers

Thank you so much, I am sorry I could not be any more specific with the design I would like.

I can't begin to explain how grateful I am for your time.

    What about this style?
I've used elements here that (I'm guessing) represent your town/area.
St. George cross, farming and the oak tree.
The background shows how it would sit over both red and white.

That really is great! Thanks for the time put into it.

Would it be possible to see what the design would look like as a shield with a less prominent St. George's cross, Possibly in Quarters? If you could add a few extra colours too that would be fantastic, the Red and White is really just for the kit as it is the same one Southampton FC wore in their first year as a football team.

I really love the design, it would just be really nice to have two designs to choose from.

Many thanks again, really aprreciate this!

Give me a few more days to come up with a shield alterative.

Wow! Thanks so much for doing these. Could they both be sent to me please?

Really appreciate the time put into these fantastic designs.

Do you have a favourite charity I could donate to as thanks?

Here's the zip containing both versions.
That's a nice offer, how about something to do with animal welfare. Like your country's version of RSPCA?

Cheers mate and good luck with the team!

(let me know when you have the file so I can remove it from here)

Yeah we do have the RSPCA, I think it was a UK charity to begin with.

I'll send them a donation on your behalf.

The circular crest is in different colours on the one just sent to the one posted in this thread. Could you please send the original one too? The top two quarters with the farm and oak tree in have turned out pink.

Thanks so much for this, sorry for nit picking!

Fantastic, thank you so much for this.

The little animals at the RSPCA will be very grateful too!

I'll keep visiting from time to time to keep a look in at all the great designs.

    Always appreciative.
