Legacy Football Crest Please??

Hi I tried to create a football crest on paint but didnt turn out to well as expected I would like some help if anyone is willing to

Team Name - Ashford Eagles
Year Created 2011

I tried to design it with an eagles wings out and football clutchhed in claws but any other suggestions would be appreciated

What other information would be useful? Its a blank canvas really but could help with anything you need to make it easier

 

As CP stated. some more information would be usefull (have a look at the "questionaire") stated in the link. would u like a text only or image only logo? etc.

Im open to idea really shape I was thinking of arsenal crest shape or a simple oval/circle. Im afriad I deleted my paint as it looked ridiculous but id like an eagle of some sort on the badge and possibly the team either initials or name somewhere
