Legacy Football Club Crest Please!!!

Hi all. I would be very greatful if you could design me a club crest for my new football club.

3) List 3 logo designs you really like & why:
Of the 3 attached.
One is one that we have had done for ourselves which we aren't too keen on. What we do like is the colours, the horse's head, and the shield.
Manchester United Logo - I love this badge (being the club I support). I like the symbols and how they represent the area and I like the parts that contain the text.
Barca Logo - As above I like how it symbolises the city and I like the shield design

4) Requested size of your logo:
High Res for shirt printing please. Would also like to use the logo on the website aswell as on email signatures and letterheads.

5) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I would assume the DPFC logo attached should be copyright free as it was designed for us.

6) Any colors you prefer?
Yellow and Black although as the shirt colours aren't yet 100% decided this is flexible

I would like to see a shield type logo broken up into 3 sections like the Barca logo. In the 3 I would like the horses head and a clock tower (although I think this could be a stumbling block depending on how it looks) to represent the area of Davyhulme in the smaller sections and then a football in the main section. I would like the logo to include the clubs name "Davyhulme Park" and that's basically it. Any extras any of the gifted designerrs on here come up with to throw in too are always welcome as I'm amazed with the results that some of the requests have resulted in.

All of the criteria above is flexible as basically if I see something I love that matches none of it I will far from complain lol.

As you can see the logo that was designed for us unfortunately has a typo and says "Dayhulme Park" instead of "Davyhulme Park" lol. I would prefer this not to happen again if possible lol.

Good Morning (well for me at least) Pea,

Thanks for the response and absolutely no problem can only imagine how much you have on here let alone in your own life.

The only thing I don't like is how dominant the horse is. I don't know I just feel that without the football in there we could be a riding club lol.

I love the surrounding bit with our name in although was wondering if we could either have it as just a complete circle or as two bands seperate by maybe two small footballs like in the Manchester United crest I attached. I would also prefer the football to go as think it looks abit cramped and then the shield dead centred rather then over lapping the bands.

Infact how about that. Bin the ball, centre the shield with the horses head as it is and then rework the band around the edge to be broken up by 2 footballs. That may well be spot on lol.

Sorry to moan just want it look perfect and I know you're capable of achieving that!

Not sure what happened. Could have sworn I posted a reply. Anyway I love it. If possible could you substitute the horse for a clock tower and change the yellow to white. Not instead of but as a seperate crest. Basically I can then take the 2 logos (each in yellow and white) to the committee and get a vote.

If you can find a silhouette of a clock tower that would be perfect. If it's too much messing around for you then don't worry we will just stick with the horse (the nags head).

hi CP,

I've been staring at this for the best part of half an hour now and just can't think of what could be done. We could put it in a shiled but i don't think that's the answer. The other thing would be to bring the two balls inside either side of the clock tower making the out ring a solid ring. I just don't know. I do love that clock tower though it is so like the one that stands on the nags head and is a monument to the fallen solidiers of past wars which is why i've been keen to try something with it. If you could make it black rather then yellow maybe leaving the cross white like the clock and then bring the balls in either side making the outer ring solid that will be perfect and I will leave you alone lol.

If it's ok then after those changes if you could provide me with both the crests, so this one and the one with the horses head, with both a yellow background and then again with a white background. That gives me 4 choices to take to the commitee to vote on and then that is it we will be done.

Well finally had our committee meeting and I'm please to say your efforts were very very much appreciated. The chosen crest was the final containg both the clock tower and the nags head. White seemed to be the prefered colour although if it is easy enough to provide both the yellow and white versions with transparent backgrounds that would be great if it's more then 5 minutes work for you then if you could just do the white that would be great.
