Legacy Extra bit of help please on logo?

Firstly thanks so much CP for doing the below emblem for me and my club.

I have shown it to the commitee and they too agree it looks great, but would it be possible for some alterations PLEASE?

is there anyway we could incorporate some kind of wave design into it? The reason being is we are nicknamed the Lakers due to our ground being next door to a large lake.

2 ideas were;

1 the ball floating on water (squigly lines around it?0
2 instead of the stars maybe waves (not that a lake has waves)

Just an idea as you can see by my avatar the tree is siting on a wave as Forest play by the river trent.

Again any ideas on this would be great, and I thank you in advance for the time you and your site put in on help all of us

Is there any chance of having the same design colours reversed, as the badge needs to go on home shirts (which is red) and not sure how well it would show up on it? but on our away kit it (which is white) it looks the bizzz!! Sorry to be a pain...
