My 8yr old daughter wants to start an after school dog club (they plan to talk about dogs, read books about dogs, play games about dogs, and then bring treats to dogs in the kennel). She'd like me to create a log and invitation for her and club and unfortunately I'm useless.

I was hoping someone here could slap together a logo. I was thinking a round logo with a dog paw print in the middle (perhaps big and small to indicate a mother dog and a puppy - but I'm not creative) or a profile image of a golden retriever? The club name would be "Puppy Pals" with maybe a cute slogan (again, I'm not the creative type).

Colors are not important. This would not be used on a website and does not need to be high res. It's simply for invitations and some generic printouts for a 3rd grade group of girls. Maybe I'll throw it on some shirts for them for the trip to the kennel.

    Help! Thanks in advance!!

    Hello FWTeb -
Sounds like a great idea your daughter has come up with. I'm sure we could put something together as a logo for her.

Just to personalise the logo and make it more fun...
Why not prompt your daughter (and her friends) to come up with a rough logo of their very own, on paper, scan the result and post it here (no larger than 700px wide) and let one of us do some 'fine-tuning'.

Hi fwteb, I gave it a shot but I'm not too good at this. I'll leave a slogan up to you, I am terrible at coming up with them. 4 versions, white+silhouet, white+colour, orange+silhouet, orange+colour.

    great idea CovertPea
Parents should encourage the creative side of children, making it fun and yet helping to develop their minds.
If fwteb doesn't have a scanner I'm sure he can find someone or place who does.
Hope he takes your idea, love to see what the kids come up with.

Great idea covert. We'll add that to the list of things the club can do together. In the meantime, we'll use one of the creatives above for the invites.

Oh yeah glad you replied back this...I created a graphic last night for the club just to improve my skills and see what I can do so I chose yours for some reason. But I had another go at it but forgot to post it up. It's not the best of graphics but I wanted to do something without the circle so here it is :)

    EDIT:
