Legacy DJ Logo for Fashion Show.

Hello,
Thank you all for the hard and thankless work you do on this site. It is amazing to see all the work that you all do.

Now, down to business. My name is DJ SIN. I am a club DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area, and was recently asked to perform at a charity fashion show for a non profit I support. They requests a HIGH RES. logo from me for their flyer and program. I have a logo already, but I believe it to be a little to edgy for this event and would like something more subtle and elegant but still gets my brand out there.. maybe an old school look to it.

color scheme on this isnt of the upmost importance, black and white with maybe an accent color or two.

I'd totally love to give this a try; I've been busy lately, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to whip something up, but I'm going to first try to get a feel of your music/what I think would go well...?

Also, do you have a preference as to a black background or a white background?

Lastly, what will you be using your logo for -- like, do you need a transparent background? Because I think that makes quite the difference when I'm designing a logo (I also search my computer for photos with light/dark parts, and I go ahead and try to see if that logo would work with any type of color).

 

Let me know if I'm on the right track.
Is this too simple or is it too busy?
Are you okay with the lower cases?
Are you okay with the black background?

Also, I've added a watermark...If you end up liking and choosing one of my logos, then I will send you the graphic without my watermark.

So you can get a basic idea of my music from my online demo DJ SIN - Profile, Biography, Contact Information and Mixes - Mixcrate This logo will be used for a flyer and an event program for a charity fashion show I am DJing for the head start program.

The DJ name should just be "dj sin". I like the coloring and lowercase. Perhaps add a simple graphic ie: headphones.

naw, you're no idiot. don't be soo tough on yourself!! you do amazing work all over these boards!! keep it up! When I get the flyer and program I will toss it on here, and if there is ever anything I can do for you.. mix cd perhaps? just let me know.

 

With headphones, two different versions.

I didn't know if you liked the faded words in the bg, so I just took them out. Let me know if you want them though.

Okay, awesome. Let me know what kind of file you need it as -- CMYK, 200 dpi, I assume... .tiff, .png, .psd, .jpg, .gif...let me know, and I'll send it to you.
