    Hello All, I am new to this forum. I am attempting to redesign an ancient website and I need some creative people to assist in the redesign of a logo. I will browse through your site an assist anyone that I can. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
    Outland Technology

    2) What is your website address (ex: http://site.com ; Site Name)?
    OUTLAND TECHNOLOGY Inc.

    3) Description of your website:
    Current website is OLDDDD, new design will have Blue/Black and White color scheme.

    4) Have you found any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
    the style you are looking for?

    Yes, The round one is an old logo and the text is the new. I want something simple and clean, very professional. I would like to have something similar to the current logo, but a little dressed up.

    Thanks for the hard work. They both look great. I wonder if you had any ideas for more of a symbolic type logo. Something that has the same memory effect of the coca cola words or the nike swoosh. Something that you will instantly recognize as my company when you see the logo, whether it be the shape or words. Does that make sense? You are on the right track DPBrad. Excellent job.

    Something more similar to this type of thing;

    (I don't have much experience in "Symbol" logo's, but you have to start somewhere I guess :p)

    Hi Sean; before I start on this, are you saying you want the company name within the logo itself? so combining the banner and logo?

    DPbrad, nice work (save them to your portfolio you never know when they will come in handy)

    Yes, I think I would like the name within the logo. However, I do not know exactly what I want. I am curious to see your creative work. I would like to see you take into consideration the type of technical work that we do, and bring our "image" inline with our competitors. Please take a look at the content of our website at OUTLAND TECHNOLOGY Inc. and look at some of our competitors websites at SeaBotix Inc., VideoRay ROVs, SeaTrepid | Home. Our website has not updated it's look since the late 90's and is in serious need of a makeover. Our company designs some of the most sophisticated equipment in our industry and our website makes us look like a "mom and pop shop". Again, regarding the logo, please give any creative ideas and remember that your help is GREATLY appreciated. I will return the favors in any way I can. Thanks.

    I don't think either of those would suit us well. I think tat DPbrad was more in line wit my thoughts. Again, sorry to be so difficult. I want something that is relatively simple.

    I like how DpBrad are a logo and banner within itself, (and I really don't want to offend you here...) yours seem like just text on a blue background and the previous ones seem like a logo for some kids video game site. Forgive me for my honest opinion, they are very good work, just not what I am looking for. I want something similar to my existing logos, but able to show well large or small. For example, I want the logo to look good on a pencil as well as on a billboard. Simple features, with not great detail.
