    Hi,
I would be forever grateful if someone can design a club crest for the Sunday morning football team that I run.

The team name is Three Bulls Heads AFC.

Please see below answers from the sticky re: logo requests

    1) We do not have a website

    2) N/A

    3) I really like a shield design as a basis of the badge; something along the lines of your previous designs.

    https://freewebsitetemplates.com/forum/f17/request-football-crest-badge-14634/

    4) Could the badge please be high resolution as it is for shirt printing.
If it could come in various sizes it would be much appreciated.
The print firm I am looking at requests an Adobe Illustrator file (version 4) up to 300 DPI

    5) I really have no problems with anything being used within the design, I am fully open to suggestions.

    6) We play in a Black/White striped shirt, a black and white badge would be great.

I really hope someone can come up with a badge after seeing all the amazing designs already created on other posts I am sure this will be no problem. In the meantime I will try and do my best for the community by reading through posts and offering advice where I can.

    Thanks in advance

    Chris

    Hey Chris,
How about this? It should sit pretty well over the black & white striped shirts.

Thats fantastic CP, almost exactly what I had in mind.
Would it be possible to get some black and white stripes in there somewhere ?

    Once again many thanks

On second thoughts, the more I look at it the more you have got it spot on, just leave it as is.
Not to be too cheeky but would it be possible to have it with the colours reversed as well ? We have some black jackets that we would like to print the badge on.
As I said earlier man many thanks it is really appreciated.

I did think about adding some stripes. That would be way too excessive over a striped jersey though.
Will play around with a reverse colours for you.

    Thanks Forest.
Yep, new watermark. Bigger - with lots of curves and gradiated shading.

I've noticed that some watermarks on the posts have been made see-through. Is this a better way than just typing in the text in dark gray and lowering the opacity (like mine)

I've noticed quite a few that are completely see-through and you can just see the outline so just wondering if it's a better way to watermark our work?

    Chris -
Attached is zip containing png's and .AI files of the crest plus the crest inverted.
Have PMed you with the zip password.

Let me know when you have the file downloaded so I can remove it from the forum.
    Cheers

    Hey GG -
    Regarding watermarking...
There's heaps of ways to do it. How you have done yours is fine although I prefer my watermark to have a few blending options added as well.

Here's a ps tutorial for you that may help.
    (link removed)
    Edit:
Forget that site, I just noticed you had to 'join up' (pay) to view the tutorial's details.

I've attached a zip of an ASL file (Photoshop Styles file that goes into your presets/styles folder)
Depending on the background, I use one of these 3 styles on my mix of both graphic & text images that I want to use as a watermark. Just create your watermark in plain white and add the layer style.
    Hope this helps
    Susan
PS: if anyone else wants the zip, help yourself. :)

    Thanks again CP,
One last request Could I have the name banner the same on both so the letters are white and the background black. I am just thinking this will be easier to print direct onto a black background.
Thanks again your work is really appreciated, e-mailed the rest of the committee and they are full of praise for what you have done.

    Cheers

    Chris

Thanks for the files CP. Got them and had a look. I've seen more of the see-through ones so just thought that it might have been better. I have taken off a few watermarks from other images just to see if it's possible and found that those with completely white with no effects or anything will not work but thanks again. :)

By the way great design as usual ;)

    Chris -
 I can't believe I missed completing this request! So sorry about the extended delay. If you still require copies of the inverted images, they are in the attached zip.
