Legacy Clan Website/Signature Logo Request

I realize that I am missing some information, due to lack of technical knowledge, but will provide what I can. This is MOST heavily appreciated!

Clan name: Spec Ops Team 1

Website: None, yet. I'm still designing it.

Design: Will be militaristic in nature, focusing on Special Forces and Infantry

Logo Designs I like, and why? I am leaning towards military style badges, such as Special Ops Command, Army Special Forces, and Marine Special Forces. This is mostly because of their simplicity, realism, and versatility, plus, well, they just look cool.

Requested size: This is one of the details I don't have. I dont know a specific size, but something that could fit on the top of a website. On my screen, (1280*1024) I'm guessing a two inch or three inch logo would work. (I can do resizing, if necessary) If at all possible, a second size, for forum signatures, would be awesome, but hardly necessary.

I have no images currently, but would like to incorporate the "Future Warrior" design found here: http://www.natick.army.mil/about/pao/2006/FutureWarrior_med.jpg into it, in some way.

Colors: Black, red and gold. Gold I see mostly as borders (as an example, in the military style badges, using gold to border the edge of the badge)

I apologize for the lack of technical information, and lack of precision... I just have no idea how to start with that.

Are you looking for a completely new/custom logo, designed like the SAS/SERE/SOPS emblems, or a logo created that uses one of the above emblems?

The former is probably something you won't find here as it requires a lot of time, and even though most of the designers here are happy to give much of their time to help you, it may just be a bit too much (I could be wrong, it's just how I see it). Actually, If that is what you were looking for, maybe you could design the emblem on paper and scan it for us. I've seen that CP is very skilled in bringing drawings to life.

Basically, something that took one of those emblems and took the text out of them, replacing it with the clan name, and put a shield behind it would be ideal.
