I've seen some amazing logo creations on this site for some of the members and I was hoping one of you may be able to spare a little of your time to come up with something for me. I'm new to the site so please excuse my ignorance if I have missed anything.

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
    'Old Tramshed Rovers F.C.'
    'Est 2011'

I like the idea of having the main text in some kind of ribbon near the top of the crest with the 'Est 2011' in a smaller ribbon at the bottom.

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?

As a club we don't currently have a website but the place we are playing from is The Old Tramshed

    3) Description of your website or business:
New football club in Bradford, UK

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey.

See attached file, I quite like the idea of the lightning bolt in the middle but if anyone is feeling really creative then I am more than happy to let you change it as much or as little as you wish.

    5) Requested size of your logo:

Logo will be printed on shirts but we will also have a copy for the website (once created) so high resolution would be preferred.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Finding an appropriate, non-copyrighted graphic is the hardest and most time-consuming part
of putting together logos. If you have a hand drawn sketch of what you want, please feel
free to scan it and post the image.
(please keep any posted graphics under 600 x 600 pixels.)
Don't have your own but you require graphic in your logo, then search and find at least two that reflect what you are visualizing post them or a link and explain what it is about them you like, be as descriptive as you can.

    See attached

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
This will help the designers know what type of logo styles you are into and will create your
    logo accordingly.

Text and Image – Includes text and images used in your logo. This could be used to either
give a clearer view of what your logo is showing to your audience.

Basically something that looks quite nice on a shirt and has our name on it, nothing more than that!

    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
    Colour scheme in attached image.

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    N/A

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
Something eye catching and easily recognisable to football fans.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Club recognition, Eye catching design, Simple enough to use for a variety of things (letterheads etc)

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
    Printing, embroidery and website

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Please feel free to comment on anything else that you would like your logo to have if it has
    not been mentioned above.

    N/A

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
For font types you can look here daFont or one of the many Font Websites available.

Similar to the website as previously mentioned would be ideal.

Also just want to say thanks in advance for anyone who might consider taking a look at this.

    Hi Bobo,
Would you prefer a shield or a typical round shape as the basis of your crest?
Any previous crests made here on FWT for other members take your fancy? (if so, post the link)

    Cheers
    CP

This one was the logo that originally took my fancy.

I much prefer the shield shape as the basis but as I previously mentioned, if you have any ideas using a round shape then please have a go.

Coincidentally, my team will be playing against Pudsey Crown FC in our first game of the football season.

    Thanks

Here's what I've come up with.
Depending on your shirt colours, outer stroke may need to be altered to stand out better.
    Your thoughts?

Wow CP that looks really good. To give you an idea of our shirt, I have attached a copy aswell as the URL with a zoomed in picture of the shirt. You will probably have a better idea than me but it might need a bit of an outline as the badge will probably be on the black part of the shirt.

I don't suppose there is a way you could superimpose the badge onto the shirt to give me an idea of what it would look like could you?

The rest of the team like the design but are keen to see what it looks like on the shirt.

P.S. I know what you're thinking, a pink shirt for a football team is probably an option that is going to attract a lot of grief for us. The reason we picked pink is so that we didn't have any clashes in colour with the other teams as we didn't have funds available for a home and away kit.

Thanks again CP, it's looking really good.

I think the shirts look great. Not sure about the gold/black crest over the pink though. Below is mock up of the crest in both your original gold and also one in a similar pink as the shirt. (for some reason I can't post a direct attachment) [IMG] [IMG]

Just my opinion, but it looks super sharp in the pink, white, and black -- it really pulls everything together from the black of the Adidas logo and the color of the jersey. Sweet looking shirt. Which Adidas style is that?

Not sure what range the shirt is from, I got it from a distributor so they have lots of random ranges.

CP, I like what you have done with the pink badge and really like the overall style. If we had got the design done before we'd got the shirts I would have gone with the gold/black design.

Is there any chance I can have a copy of each? We may change kit colour next season and the other one would come in very useful.
Just want to say a big thank you for what you've done, for us being a small club, to get this done elsewhere it would probably have cost what we might consider to be a small fortune. From the quality of what you've done, I would be happy to make a donation to you on behalf of the club if you want to forward your Paypal link.

    Thanks again.

No problems. I'll put the two together for you tomorrow. Just after midnight here now and 'tis time for beddy-byes.

    Here's the two variations.
In the zipped file there's 2 sizes of transparent PNGs and an AI (vector) of each.

Let me know when you have the file downloaded so I can remove it from the forum.

    Cheers mate

Thanks CP, quality work that you have done there.

I've downloaded the files so they can now be removed.

Many thanks again and I'll try and sort out a donation to you from the club

Be great if (down the track) we could see some pics of the lads in their gear with the new badge.
    :)
    Good luck with the season.
