I am using the "a template for dogs" I need to know if someone can help me with the navigation. I need a drop down menu to work with the template. Is that possible?

Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

    • Home
    • About
      • Hours and Location
      • Staff
    • Training
      • Puppy Class
      • Novice Class
      • Advanced Class
      • Agility Class
      • Conformation Class
      • In Kennel Training
      • Private Lessons
      • House Calls
    • Boarding
    • Day Care
    • Grooming
    • Available Dogs
      • German Shepherd Puppies
      • German Shepherd Adults
      • Rescues
      • Breeding Program
    • Products
    • Contact
Also I am changing to the colors of the template around to go with the colors of the business so I need to be able to change the colors of the drop down menu. The colors I am going for are red, black, white, grey if that helps. If this is the wrong place to post this please let me know, I am brand new.

    Thanks So Much

The size of navigation length is limited due the design. This is how yours page would look like. You need to shorten the list. As for dropdown menu you can check out this article.

There are number of templates at our project site that include dropdown menu. Here is the list:

    Shameless promotion tomw
She could always widen the overall width of the web to accommodate the extra selections.

Perhaps it's shameless but I help out too if I could. Here is an example; same template too.

Never said you didn't help out, but you push your cms so hard you seem to lose site of the question. Most of the questions you answer here come from beginners learning html/css villa the templates. That in it's self can be daunting let alone throw a new variable into the mix. Maybe view it as help 101 and then take them to class 202CMS. Spoon feeding method. Slow and steady. That way you will increase your Member base.
    Just a thought.
    dynamic drive - good suggestion.

I am not concerned about the width of my menu because I am going to put my own image in so I can adjust the background of the color behind the menu I believe. I do need the drop down, I will look at the link.

    Thanks

You know you are right, I didn't see the last two menu items in tomw's link of the website, the backdrop isn't showing. You might have to adjust the margin to center it.
Dynamic Drive has some good ones which will work for you.

You can also use CSS as shown by my partner's templates (shameless promotion again). I made the change to the page to let you see the result. Here is the link.

Try "Wonderware" CSS Drop Down menu - it's free
    Web Design Tools
It is what I use on some of my pages
