General newbie

hi i'm really new in using templates to create a webpage. can anyone help? or at least share where I can get a tutorial on using a website template. I've downloaded a template from this page but don't know how to use it.

 

do you have a CPanel ? and if you want to edit and just use a simple normal windoww computer program

right click the file " Index.html" then click "open with" and then "Notepad" now you have the file opend and ready to modifiy.

so then... you minimize that. and click the index.html ( should open with ur default internet ) you will see the url is your computer so the website is just running as a lan connection = no online hosting. once you have modified

now; do you have a " Cpanel ? " for exmpale its a website with CPanel at the end

 

You can do that easily with odCMS by selecting which theme to use. I'm currently converting the designs from this site into themes. Perhaps the template you download is among them; if not I can add that into the list.

You can also do that manually as described by krisakaklp.

i don't have the Cpanel.
i've downloaded template21. to modify, i hv 2 use photoshop, right?
n how do i increase the template's size?

 

edit values in the index file :/
use notepad.exe
but download Dreamweaver CS5 while u using notepad... mess about, learn what's what in the template lols
