Legacy Want to create a metal logo?

we are looking for a pro looking logo and symbol\emblem to represent us.

were past the party band stage and starting to get serious, shows will be coming soon.

but our logo is amatureish and a little on the childish side. we need metal!

open to anything really, but one idea i had was the text "Empire Down" in a font simular to trajen pro, with some sort of coat of arms centered behind it. not too big.
maybe a little dark looking but not evil..


thats just an idea i had though, but i just play guitar, you guys are the experts.
I dont have alot to offer for the job, but will credit you with the design, and ill get you a burned disk if you like, maybe a t shirt when we get some printed up.

the logo will be used for our website, t shirts, cd cases, hats, will need to be color (black, red, blue whatever you think) but also a B&W for promo fliers.
lol just about anything.

3 logo designs we like, hmm.. Im sorry I dont know, maybe the kain and raziel logos from the game legacy of kain lol, just because they are edgy, tribal and dark.
coat of arms are cool, maybe a dark one with skeletal wings coming out? heh
what were not looking for is the illegible black metal logos, we want stlye that screams metal..
maybe melodic with a touch of death, elegant but not too nice..
hell I dont know, im rambling!

also if this is the wrong forum to post in I apologize, I dont have a logo needs modified, i need a logo.

Hmmm, I like the sound of free stuff xD

I'm going on holiday today but If mah new laptop arrives before I leave I can take a stab at it while I'm away. Sounds like a fun request and no doubt I'll be bored as hell over the next two weeks.


What kind of metal are you btw? We get quite a few screamo/emo/death metal requests and it makes me a sadpanda Needs more Nu/Melodic/Classic metal.

we are all older, so not big into the new metal, but were kinda a cross between oldschool thrash and death i guess.. very melodic, and we use clean vocals as much as we use death growls haha

Yeah, everyones tastes differ. our vocalis is actually about 10 years younger than us too. thanks for taking a listen!
we have videos too that scroll the lyrics as he says them, some really cool stories!

were not looking to be huge, we just want to play what we enjoy, and play local shows..

if anything bigger comes of it, awesome! if not were happy just the same.
