Web Design Photoshop SLICEING problems plzz help

Ok guys i made a template then got it sliced up. Then i go into dreamweaver mx 2004 this is the problem im having im trying to remove all the gifs in the template like this.


1 In the <"TD"> tag type in background= then the image name, width & height of the image you selected. (Left content box bg image

2 Then simply delete the image leaving the table data area left with its background.

ok its step two thats not working for me when i try to remove the image the template screws up big time anybody no why? I even tryed doing it with dreamweaver remove photo then use dreamerweaver to root folder for the photo it again screws up.
