Ive published a free site so you can check it out easily.

Its aimed charity/community group fundraising but you can just as easily use it to earn money for yourself. Or just have fun!

Launching the real site in the next couple of weeks so it would be really really good to get some criticism from you guys now? Im thick skinned so please be honest!

It looks like a nice clean well organized site. I'm not a gambler but at least your site puts a new spin on gambling as you can donate to charities. I like the link about responsible gaming as some people get too carried away. I know I lived in Reno for a summer.
    Good luck and have fun.

Thanks for that guys. Much appreciated :)

Im not a gambler myself and I'm trying not to aim the site at existing on-line gamblers. I'm hoping it can be compared to tombola lol. Bingo nights and scratch cards have built more church roofs and paid for more kids football kits than any other kind of fund-raising!

Of course, an astute person might want to set up a group of trusted friends (perhaps on facebook or similar)? and create bets for them - keeping the commission himself. I think thats fair enough and a just reward for the time invested.

Maybe the fun is on putting 20 pence bets with your mates down the pub as to who's going to pull the new barmaid first?

The site does all this, but I don't think there's anything there of interest to the 'serious' Reno type gambler? Never been to Reno - or Vegas. Closest I've been is Blackpool ;)

The real site should be ready (licensed) next week - fingers crossed - and apart from a few new functions, its almost the same. I keep racking my brain for ideas on how to keep it clean. There is actually quite a lot of 'data' on the site and the fight is keeping it from looking like a credit card statement! I do think the site is novel - well, at least I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Effective? Well, regardless of whether its a good idea/site, its success will have to depend 100% on word of mouth (read social media) as there's no budget for advertising!

How do you think I could best promote the site? Im thinking that if I could find a celebrity to create a bet (donating their commission to charity), then have them promote it, that might give it the site a push to get it started.

    Any Ideas?

Well first of all promotion is a very powerful and sometimes costly thing. Well what is the profits?
