Good day! It's been a blessing to have finally found a site such as this. I just signed up and have read a bit from some of the forum's discussions.
It's my birthday this Saturday, Feb. 11 and just as my thread's title says, I wish for a logo for my new photography business. I tried to create one but it didn't turn out well. I'm good at taking photos but I don't know how to create a logo :(. I hope someone could help me.
The name of my business is "Camera Treat". I own a Canon DSLR. I love swirls, paisleys..more on the vintage style..maybe the colors of the 70's!
I also love René Magritte's The Son of Man http://brucemctague.com/tag/rene-magritte. Maybe a camera could cover his face instead of an apple?
Hope someone out there could help me. It could be either the 70-ish/psychedelic logo design or René Magritte's design.

Thank you very much in advance and God bless.

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Camera Treat Photography . The phrase"..where shooting you is a treat" could be added (if it isn't corny ;))
    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
I've no website yet. But I envision it to be colorful
    3) Description of your website or business:
    Photography
    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
http://brucemctague.com/tag/rene-magritte - a camera could cover the face in place of the apple
    or
something like this http://zahiddehara.deviantart.com/a...6706?q=boost:popular camera psychedelic&qo=32
    or similar to this
    http://hyperstrudel.deviantart.com/...452?q=boost:popular camera psychedelic&qo=209
    5) Requested size of your logo:
The logo will be used for the website and would also be printed on posters, stickers, and shirts
    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
I own a canon dslr but have not taken any photos of it.
    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
    Texts and Image , pls.
    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
If it's René Magritte's The Son of Man design, any text color that would best suit the painting's color
If it's the other 2 suggested design, psychedelic and Happy colors may do
    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
    none
    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
    general public
    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
    - that they'll be having a grand time when they hire me as their photog :D
    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
for website, large posters, business card, brochures, t-shirts, stickers, buttons
    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
    none
    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
If it's René Magritte's The Son of Man design, any type of font will do as long as it suits the design
If its for the other suggested two, 70's psychedelic font will do.

    THANK YOU!!!! :)

If you read the sticky again, then you'll notice that we like to wait to see people requesting to help give back in some way, and once we see you helping out within the forum, then we'll help you out - it's a give and take community here. Thanks!
