General Mac smileys, how do I?

I have a mac computer and need new smileys for my forum, but free. Anyone know where I can get them? I have some already in my forum from my older pc that doesn't have internet connection. It was easy to get smileys into my files. Now I cannot with my mac, all I see is the html code. How do I download individual smileys into my files?

I am trying to teach my friend who is beyond my reach how to right click and copy/save as something into her files so she can add new smileys, but its hard to remember. Is there a site where I can direct her for easy instructions?

Well, I figured out how to download one cute smiley, but hard to do the rest. I have to download then unzip. LOL! Onto searching more ways.
