Sorry not sure how this all works, hopefully I did this right??

    1) What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
The exact text that you want in your logo. Include other details like
positioning, if you need it done in a certain way. Carly D. Photography

    2) What is your website address (ex: http:/site .com/; Site Name)?
If the logo is to be displayed on your website, style, colouring and background
blend needs to be taken into consideration. No Website yet, just getting started and need logo for photos, etc.
    3) Description of your website or business:
Another aid for our graphics people in deciding on an appropriate style design. N/A

    4) Search the Internet for any logos/designs on the web that you feel convey
the style you are looking for?
Either post small images of the logo designs (please keep any posted graphics under 600 x 600 pixels) or the URL of where the image/s can be found.
By supplying this info you are helping our graphics people get an idea of the preferred 'style'
    you are looking for.
upload the graphics and explain what it is about them you like, be as descriptive as you can.
We will not guess as to what is on your mind. [IMG] Like 4 leaf cloves, or flowers, renissance/vintage look.

    5) Requested size of your logo:
Basically we ask this to determine the graphics resolution and what it will be eventually used for.
Is the logo to be used solely for the web? (low resolution)
Will it be made into a poster or printed on shirts? (high resolution) High Resolution for Photos, I currently do not have a website....just getting started.

    6) Do you have any images/photos that can be used for the logo? (must be copyright free)
Finding an appropriate, non-copyrighted graphic is the hardest and most time-consuming part
of putting together logos. If you have a hand drawn sketch of what you want, please feel
free to scan it and post the image.
(please keep any posted graphics under 600 x 600 pixels.)
Don't have your own but you require graphic in your logo, then search and find at least two that reflect what you are visualizing post them or a link and explain what it is about them you like, be as descriptive as you can. I have pictures I have taken that I can share for this, just not sure how to post them on this?

    7) What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
This will help the designers know what type of logo styles you are into and will create your
    logo accordingly.
Text Only - Includes a text only logo which is a logo with just text and some extra effects.
Image only – Includes and image logo with no text (or little text such as initials)
Text and Image – Includes text and images used in your logo. This could be used to either
give a clearer view of what your logo is showing to your audience. Just need it transparent or white colored for photos can have colors as well.
It can have 4 leaf clovers or flowers, etc. incorporated...that would be wonderful with the name of the business.
    8) What colors do you want to see in your logo?
State any main colours that you would like in your logo. Open to anything

    9) What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
State any colours that you do not want in your logo. Open to anything

    10) Describe the target audience for your logo
This will help the designers to create a logo based at your target audience (e.g Kids – Colourful, eye-catching, possibly characters) Photography for all ages.

    11) What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
This will help the designer know how to design your logo and to what effect.
(e.g could be targeted to attract new businesses, gamers, newly weds, children,
builders etc etc) Nice, Elegant, Simple

    12) Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
This will help the designers know which format to create the logo in. You will not
have to decide yourself as all designers will know. Please note down everything that
your logo will be placed on which includes any future plans.
Failure to do so will result in a bad quality logo. Will be used right now just on proofs for clients. Logo on photos.

    13) Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Please feel free to comment on anything else that you would like your logo to have if it has
not been mentioned above. I love 4 leaf clovers if there is any way to incorporate a few here and there?

    14) Finally we need is there a style font you prefer, please let us know.
For font types you can look here daFont or one of the many Font Websites available. Anything similar to logos I attached. Open to anything.

I'm a bit rusty, seeing as I haven't done much graphic designing since last summer...but I'll give this a go :) I tend to like making the photography logos anyway, haha

This is just a rough draft...but how is this? I'm not loving it (still thinking about the four leaf clover), but I just want to get your opinion on three things (you said you were open to anything):

    1. The basic idea of the logo
    2. The fonts
    3. The color

    Love it!!

I love it....do you think color wise for placing logo on photos to do it in color or in just white?

Do you think it would be better- not with clover

If you think it would be better just plain....whatever you think....I love the font and the idea you came up with!! :) You are wonderful....thanks again!

Do you want me to make any changes? Or are you satisfied with my first draft? Haha.

If you give me a few (1-3) of your photos, then I can go ahead and apply the logo onto it and show you what it looks like in the purple/lavender as well as in white.

Also, what format do you want the logo? And yes, it will have a transparent background; I just wanted to give you a quick look at what it looks like so I added a white background.

    format for logo

I guess jpg. or whatever you think would be best? Thanks again, do you like the logo with the 4 leaf clover? Do you think it would be better without it?

I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm proud of my work. I'm just surprised simply because it usually takes a few tries to get the logo just right for each client...but in this case, I got it on the first try! I like the 4 leaf clover; it gives the logo something other than text. Plus, you said that the number 4 is important and special to you, so you might as well incorporate it into your logo. It's YOUR logo, after all.

I'm not on my laptop right now, so I won't be able to show you what your photo looks like with the logo (if it doesn't look right, then I'll change it up a bit).

Regarding file type..it all depends on what you want the logo for. If I remember correctly, you wanted it for your website, fliers, and whatnot (so web and print)...also, you wanted a transparent background, so I can give that to you as a .tiff or a .png (I think) file...I need to double check; I haven't done much designing in the past year...but I can definitely give you a couple file types if you want. Just let me know what works for you!

Thanks for getting back so quickly :)

Thanks so much...they are my pride and joy!! :) Whatever you think looks best you are great at what you do. In format for print logo, and eventually for website, business cards, etc. You can send me as many options as you would like and I can then have a variety to choose from for website, business cards, etc. I do love 4 leaf clovers!! I guess we could do one with and one without just in-case....and I love the purple color....I am just thrilled!! Thanks again so much.
