Closed Layout request/help

Hello, I've been looking around, trying to learn how to make my own layout, but it doesn't seem to be going to well. I was wodering wether someone could help me make one, or make one for me please. Here's some information...

It's a site, basically, for equality.

For colors, I only have black and white in mind. Pretty much contrasting colors.
