Graphics inserting jpgs into psd templates with gimp

    Hello, I have just spent hours searching for a step by step tutorial of how to insert photos into a psd template using gimp. There are heaps for photoshop but I cannot find any for gimp..... can anyone please help I am soooo desperate!!!!!:eek:

    .PSD files work with gimp? I wasn't aware of that. Why cant you just create the file with the layers in gimp then save it and open it photoshop and continue there?
