CSS Help with Charity Template

    Hi,

I'm a novice web designer, and got into design because several of my small business clients needed to develop a web presence. I am working on a site for a new client and want to use the Charity template as my starting point for the site.

I need to create a two-tier navigation system and am hoping that there is a way to simply add the second tier to the existing navigation. I'm new to CSS and so am unsure as to how to proceed. Does anyone have any ideas ?

    Thanks!
    Rachel

    The Link

    Hi West,

The link to the preview of the template on this website is https://freewebsitetemplates.com/preview/charity. I don't have anything online yet, since I'm not sure what template I'll be using (if I can't figure out how to make this one work, then I'll need to do something else). If you need me to post what I've got so far online, please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Rachel

Not Sure What To Do Next

    Hi West,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've found loads of interesting two-tier navigation bars on the web and have tried to insert about a half a dozen of them into the template. My problem is that I'm a novice and have no idea how to implement the new navigation into the existing template. It keeps ending up in funny places (like in the middle of the body text). Plus, I want to keep the look of the Charity template, not introduce a whole new navigation system/look (like the two lines of tabs that you propose).

Maybe there's a way to do it with what you've suggested, I just don't know how. Any tips on implementing it would be greatly appreciated!
