   On the Football website template, https://freewebsitetemplates.com/forums/threads/football-website-template.20592/. Do all the sidebars update when a change is made in index.html or do you have to go to each .html and update them?

   Yep all the sidebars need to be updated, remember this is an html page. If you want to have them all update by just editing one file the you can code in "php" and use the "PHP Include Statement". An easy to understand tutorial is here http://www.tizag.com/phpT/include.php
