    • Website URL:
      www.thebarkista.com

    • Website description:
I prepare meals/diet plans for dogs, offer nutritional consultations and instructional classes.

    • The Structure of my website:
I want the first page to be the logo (it's a great logo!) the tag line , and the navigation buttons. I have an animated version of the logo (logo appears, dog barks twice, then logo is static), and it would be great if it can be used on the front page, but if not possible, static is OK.

Other pages will be Services, Menu (literally, a menu for dogs) where people can order from, link to blog, testimonials and contact page. There will be additions in the future, but for now, keeping it small and simple. Need social media buttons as well.

I'm not wanting a lot of bling - there will be some custom graphics, the logo and some photos. Very "Keep it simple stupid".

The overall appearance can't be too cute since canine nutrition, done right, is actually pretty serious.

    • My favorite template designs on Free Website Templates:
http://www.wix.com/website-template...wt&experiment_id=ma_html_fwt_temp_4_2_cupcake (very simple site, but the bling isn't appropriate for a dog food site).

(I really like the menu page on this one, but the background is too cluttered)

Tried to build one myself using this one, but I can't get my logo to fit on the front page.

    • Other websites whose design I like:
I actually haven't found a website I liked to reflect what I'm looking for for this starter page. Simple, clean, not a lot of words.

    • Preferred colors:
Either tan and black or a mid green and black.

    • Notes:
I've paid 2 'designers' so far and haven't gotten very far. The latest version is up at www.thebarkista.com - though I haven't told anyone it's live yet. Believe it or not, this one is the best of the 2. If I can get a great template, I would be more than willing to pay the designer for upgrades to my site as the business (hopefully) grows.
