CSS Creating a dreamweaver template

    First, great website!

    I am using https://freewebsitetemplates.com/preview/footballwebsitetemplate/

I am a complete new CSS user so I'm breaking and fixing things constantly, learning as I go. My one big stumbling block is this: I want to create a dreamweaver template with the basic background, menu, footer and side bar, but leave the main div editable on all other pages. The problem is that if I make the main div class editable (<div class="body home">), the sidebar is editable on every page. If I make it editable just below this div, the right area is editable, but the 'body home' style overrides everything within this.

So basically, how do you use all the various pages, but share the same menu and sidebar, etc?

Sorry if the question doesn't make perfect sense-- this is a whole new world to me!

    Thanks,
    HD
