Legacy A Logo for a Christian Metal Band.

I've been looking here for a while but never got the guts to really post a topic on here because I thought I could design one myself and boy I was wrong.

We are a Christian Metal band named "The Blood Covenant". We are very different and believe in sending a strong message through our lyrics and not the name. We are looking for something that you can read and something with an emblem in the background

EXAMPLE Ideas about Background Emblems and cool fonting.



Details I guess... Colors Black And White, or the brown, dirt, sand, whites, greys, and some blacks something like that of a desert type dark dusty look. We just can't think of a symbol or cool design to fit in the back nor a font, so if you can think of something creative that would be awesome.

That's it. I see thats a quick image and heres something I forgot to add. Basically we don't want to have a jesus fish or a plain cross, we want something that's wicked looking you know? We want to show a different side of the christian music scene just something I dunno different?

 

Alright! I went and created 4 more, 2 different crosses and 2 different fonts! Like 'em?

 

Awesome, I'll run them by the band. Also, you think there would be a way where you can run the text into a design? Mabye change the background to something different? I'm just trying to get a broader sense of ideas so that way when I bring something to the guys we have a variety to look at.

If you don't mind that is. But great job, I wish I had some skills with a program like Photoshop.

 

No problem! I acctually don't like photoshop. I use a combonation of Corel Draw, Corel Paint Shop Pro X, and Microsoft Picture It!

What would you like as the background? Never acctually ran text into a design, but I can give it a shot!

 

I really don't know, We just wanted something different, something bold, something Different than regular christian bands would have.



This is a christian metal band here. Their logo is just a nifty design in the back with a simple text in the front, but it's the design that brings it out. The cross is a cool effect but we are looking at something different.

I'm not that good on the desgin background part, but here's what I came up with... nothing that impressive, lol.

Let me say holy cow! I love the font and the message in the background, what are the waving lines in the back? I see swirls on the top and on the bottem, but it looks like theres another word behind it in cursive hidden between the swirls. That is a hella job I really enjoy the font with the message, icon or picture in the background.

 

Acctually, it's all font I kinda morpehd together. The message is "TBC" and "The Blood Covenant". Welp - Off to work (Ahh, repoing calls! ).

 

Wow, I'm trying to figure out what would look good behind it like that. THe cluster of words looks pretty cool but if there was something set, or something solid to go behind ther then that would be better but I can't figure out what..

 

Hey I'm not quite sure exactly what kind of message you are looking to portray so I've quickly slapped a few bits and pieces together, not sure if you'll like it.
